Silicone Moulding and Resin Casting Basics Workshop (includes $70 of materials)
In this workshop we will give you a taste of the world of moulding and casting and all the cosplay possibilities it opens up. Firstly we will look at taking a one part silicone mould of your trinket, then we will cast them out in two different resins and we will go through how to achieve different looks and finishes using different resins and additives. We will also go through how to cast gems.
This workshop goes for approximately 3 hours.
Cost: $170 per person
Includes: all materials (includes $70 of silicones, resins, micas and disposables, all safety equipment included)
What to bring:
- A few small trinket you want to take a cast of, must have a flat side/base, must fit inside the bottom half of a mug. Preferable metal or plastic, and nothing of sentimental value. Example is brooch or buttons.
- Long sleeve shirt (that you don't mind getting dirty. Apron and other safety equipment will be provided)
- Closed toe shoes
This class can have a maximum of 4 people.
This class MUST be booked in advance.
Please note - Tickets cannot be refunded. Rescheduling of purchased tickets will only be allowed up to 48 hours before the class or under extenuating circumstances in order to be as fair as possible to our instructors.
